"We the People\\No Friends, but the Mountains" is the outro of the album and the last two part song. "We the people" starts with the real constitution speach. What politicians would like to say, but use fine words for manipulating the masses. For every dead child or abused woman, for all the people out there suffering by war and poverty, we stand with them as an act of resistance. We are the People! "No Friends, but the mountains" is a Kurdish proverb which expressed to signify their feeling of betrayal, abandonment and loneliness. We felt that is a proper title for the last part of the song, as the progression moves to " Katharsis"... When you are in the middle of a journey (especially in life's), there're many fights to give. People will betray you, but the most frightened of all is betraying yourself. "Be free for this chance to be better and sing for freedom..." is the last lyric before the repeatance of the proverb and the realization that we born and die alone.
lyrics
"We the People\\No Friends, but the Mountains"
“We the people of this earth,
establish injustice,
ensure destruction of others,
provide pain,
promote our welfare
and secure the blessings of Liberty
to ourselves... to our posterity.
Do ordain
and establish our domination
on this world!”
Ferocious fight,
we're loosing control...
Your twisted mind,
is what we stand for...
What i am? Answer!
What I'll do? Don't you?
I can fall up from the sky...
Dirty hands,
blooded hearts,
I will hunt you,
I will cut you down!
Ferocious fight,
we're loosing control...
Your twisted mind,
is what we stand for...
A child appears.
Why you praying?
I had fall from the sky...
“Do not wait, be free.
Freedom is nothing
but a chance to be better.
Be free for this chance to be better,
and sing for Freedom...
No Friends, but the Mountains.

This is colossal. I’ve been enjoying these guys for years but this album is next level. They seemed to have found their stride & it’s a biggin’. I feel that they’re heading into the Groove/Rock Genre of Clutch but still carry that epic, larger-than-life sound you’d expect from Zeppelin or later era Soundgarden. Their sound is tighter than a fish’s ass (and that’s water tight) & whatever these guys are doing; I’m loving it. And…the vocals are so, so, so good! I’m excited for their next outing. Harry Harrison
